1. A change in personal circumstances of the Ticket Holder does not entitle the return or exchange of the ticket.
2. Tickets will not be refunded under any circumstances, including but not limited to, the possible non-appearance of any particular person or group expected by the ticket holder, whether advertised or not, or any adverse weather conditions.
3. Tickets will not be replaced. Lost, stolen or damaged tickets will not be replaced.
4. Tickets only provide access to areas as indicated by signage at the event.
5. Children under 12 are admitted free. Everyone else needs a ticket to gain entry. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or legal guardian at all times.
6. The Rainbow Serpent Festival reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists or vary advertised events, ticket prices, audience capacity or viewing arrangements as necessary.
7. Patrons must observe The Rainbow Serpent Festival arrival and departure times from the site. General Admission will be no earlier than midday Thursday 24/01/08, and site must be vacated by midday Tuesday 29/01/08. Check online closer to event date for any updates or changes to these times.
8. Patrons must follow the direction of all event security, emergency services and staff at all times. In the event of an emergency, Patrons must follow the venue emergency response strategies and all instructions given by event management via public announcements, signage and direct contact. Emergency Assembly areas are indicated on the site map in the event handbook distributed on arrival.
9. Community standards of behaviour are expected and persons deemed to be behaving in a manner that is dangerous or unacceptable to management will be refused admission and/or removed from the premises.
10. Patrons must remain within the event perimeter. Persons found outside the event boundaries will be considered trespassers and subject to prosecution.
11. Official wristbands are to be worn at all times. Patrons without a wristband will be escorted off site.
12. A TOTAL FIRE BAN is in operation for the entire duration of the festival - No naked flames, campfires, BBQ’s, candles or gas stoves allowed.
13. The following items are prohibited on the event grounds:
• No illegal, dangerous or menacing items
• No minibikes or other motorized vehicles of any description permitted without the express consent of management.
• No glass bottles, containers or breakable drinking glasses
• No pyrotechnics, fire crackers, sparklers or flares allowed
• No dogs or pets allowed (guide dogs for that purpose only excepted)
14. Professional cameras or other recording equipment are prohibited without direct clearance from event management. Recording the event in any way is prohibited. Still cameras are permitted where the photographs taken are for private use, not public display or sale.
15. Random Security checks will be conducted on vehicles, luggage, and bags for any prohibited items. If requested you must comply to a search of your person, vehicle and/or property.
16. Purchase of ticket and/or entrance to the Rainbow Serpent Festival indicates acceptance of the following warning and waiver of liability. The property you are about to enter is a provider of recreational services and activities. You are further warned and advised that Rainbow Serpent Festival is an inherently dangerous place that may contain all manner of obstacles, risks and dangers, both known and unknown, natural and man made which may result in loss or damage to your property, personal injury or even death. Knowing this to be the case, if you choose to come onto this property you do so at your own risk, waiving and foregoing any rights to make any claims for losses and injuries.
